Mmmm, your version sounds delicious. I think I'll do yours and add the Italian seasoning. I like the sound of the lemon. I think I'd really like that.

Hi Nina,
I can't wait to try your version of the chick peas! I have been making something I call "Healthy Chicks" with a can of chickpeas, 1-2 squeezed lemons, 2 TBS olive oil, 2 cloves of garlic and lot's of tumeric (1TBS) and salt and pepper. I also spread them in a single layer on the pan and roast at 400 until golden crispy. What I love about this snack is that it satisfies the same craving that chips and french fries do, but in a much healthier way. What I love most about healthy chicks is that my teenage and daughter and her friends can't get enough of them!

This elixir is one that a friend of mine swears by. He drinks it daily ( for the past 10 years) and swears that it balances his alkaline levels. He preaches it to everyone. Personally I can not stomach it, but Chelsea thinks it is a great salad dressing! Thanks for confirming just how wonderful it is.

I wonder if there's a synergistic power in using them together? If not synergistic, at least heavy hitting! :)

Thanks so much for this post, Nina. I am still getting over whatever this thing is that's going around and have been using these ingredients individually. Love the idea of combining them into a healing syrup!

How frothy your coconut milk gets depends on 2 things. The brand you use and how much you whip it. I use an electric beater which also helps. Before I got into whipping the coconut milk, I would just stir and use it straight out of the can. That was also super tasty, but not as deluxe.
