Quinoa – It grows taller than me! Video from Peru!

I had no idea that Quinoa grew so tall!

In this video I am in a most incredible ancient agricultural center called Moray in Peru. You have got to see it to believe it!  It has about 25 levels for growing, each creates a different micro-climate, so that different crops can grow.

At the very base of this cone of fertile land grows wonderful quinoa.

3 Reasons Quinoa is a great addition to your diet:

Quinoa is:

  • a complete protein. It contains 9 essential amino acids that are required by the body as building blocks for muscles.
  • gluten-free. Perfect for those with wheat sensitivities or celiac disease.
  • high in calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, iron, copper, manganese, and zinc.
